Charleyne Marie Toth was born on April 17, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joseph Paul Toth and Anna Maria Mauser.
Charleyne’s first communion was on April 16, 1950 and confirmation on April 30, 1950 at Holy Trinity Church. Charleyne’s confirmation name was Ann. Her sponsor was her aunt, Martina Mauser (Dawnorowicz).
Charleyne attended Holy Trinity Catholic School (elementary school). In 1961 Charleyne graduated from St. Mary Academy.
She began her professional career at Indiana Bell Telephone Company immediately after graduating high school. She then was a stewardess at American Airlines. Later she returned to Indiana Bell.
On June 25, 1966 Charleyne Toth married Larry Gene Swoverland. Larry was born on July 21, 1941.
Charleyne and Larry have two sons:
- Gregory Lawrence Swoverland (May 19, 1970)
- Ryan Joseph Swoverland (November 21, 1973)
