Martina Otilia Dawnorowicz

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martina Otilia (Mauser) Dawnorowicz at the age of 98 on Monday, August 30, 2021. Tina was born on May 9, 1923 in Indianapolis, IN to the family of Martin and Josephine (Mervar) Mauser. She was the youngest of three daughters, truly a beautiful child, daddy's little girl and always the life of the party. Tina was married to Anthony Dawnorowicz on March 2, 1946. Tina was never blessed with her own children, but was a loving surrogate mother and freind to countless children. She was an extremely compassionate woman who helped raise her many nieces and nephews as well as her great-nieces and nephews. Family was very important to her. She was an incredible cook and loved to play polka music on the accordion and the organ. Tina was an active and faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Haughville. Her faith was very important to her and she participated in all Holy Trinity festivals, especially making potica and the sausage fest. Tina will be always remembered and forever missed. May God rest her soul in peace!
