Prušnja vas
Prušnja vas (Slovene: Prušnja vas, in older sources also Prušna vas, German: Pruschendorf) is a small settlement in the Gorjanci hills in the Krško municipality in eastern Slovenia, next to the border with Croatia. In the Slovenian language the word "vas" means village. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Spodnjeposavska (Lower Sava) statistical region. Prušnja vas is the birthplace of Janez (John) Božič.
